What You Can Expect:

  • Hybrid or on site work option

  • Conduct routine and ad-hoc reviews of CPT code configurations within the health plan, ensuring they are appropriately designed, implemented, and in alignment with current coding guidelines, payer requirements, and regulations
  • Analyze and review documentation for completeness to ensure documentation supports the level or type of services billed and documentation is in compliance with all guidelines and regulations
  • Provide feedback and education to providers regarding coding and documentation issues that impact billing compliance and payment integrity

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or experience in lieu of degree

  • Experience: 3 years relevant experience

  • Licenses/Certifications: Must have at least one of the following credentials: RHIA (Registered Health Information Administrator), RHIT (Registered Health Information Technician), CCS (Certified Coding Specialist), CPC (Certified Professional Coder), COC (Certified Outpatient Coder), CIC (Certified Inpatient Coder), CRC (Certified Risk Adjustment Coder)
